Steps choosing Faith!

Thoughts from me today . . .

A Choice -
- leads to a path of direction

1. It can lead to a territory of Faith into greater waters of greater unknown.
It leads to God's Promises of Deliverance.
It leads to God's Promise of Redemption!
It leads to God's Joy!
It leads to God's Peace!
It leads to God's Power and Authority!
It leads to God's Love!
Looking ahead in Faith examples . . .
A. Paul in Philippians.
B. Mary in Luke 1.
C. Paul and Silas in Acts 16 - they "prayed" and then - CHOSE TO - "Praise" BEFORE they SAW the walls come down!
Praise - to trust and believe - is a "choice"!

or

A Choice -
- leads to a path of direction

2. It can lead to a territory of already tread ground of the past - most often leading to "unbelief" and "regret".
Looking back examples in unbelief . . .
A. The Israelites from the wilderness into The Land of Canaan.
B. Lots wife.

A step of Faith in that "Choice" leads to results.
The "Choice of Faith" of looking ahead breeds Hope!
It breads excitement!
And Faith pleases God!
Looking back in regret is faith in defeat. Get that "faith in defeat " - toxic unbelief.
What is your Faith placed in today?
What is breeding in you today?

One "CAN" look back into testimonies of "Victory"!
Testimony in Hebrew means "to do again" . . . or "to be repeated"!
Looking back into EITHER is "a choice"!
Wisdom comes from God!
It is within us when we are born again!
Wisdom makes a "choice" of Faith to Believe ALL God's Word and Truth!
God gave us "free will" - the opportunity to "choose" Him!!
He made us with the ability to "choose" Him!
Otherwise He would have made robots.
May we "choose" wisely our "choices" today!!!

Meet Eugene from Hope Children's Home, Homa Bay, Kenya, Africa

Meet Eugene from Hope Children's Home, Homa Bay, Africa.

He is 15 years old!!
He wants to be a Banker!
He will be a Banker!
His schooling for this term was just sponsored by an amazing Woman and Man of God!
We are grateful for Eugene's opportunity to go to school and receive his education!  Check out his good grades!!! He's awesome!!!

Would you consider sponsoring one of our children???
You have 38 to choose from!
Boy?
Girl?
Infant?
Toddler?
Teen?
WE NEED YOU!

Psalm 127:3
Behold, children are a gift of the LORD . . .

When I visited Hope Children's Home, I saw how - even at 15 years old - Eugene helped take care of the other children . . . helping with laundry, tucking the boys in bed at night and bedtime prayers, monitoring the security gate into the Home, helping pray over and bless the children, going into the market to purchase things for the Home - what a Warrior he is!
When I was there in February - he had not, yet, been sponsored for this Semester's education.
It was to be $400.
I remember sitting in the hallway of the girl's home telling him "to believe it and receive it by Faith"!
We discussed Mark 11:22 - 25 and that God's Word cannot return void - Isaiah 55:11!
And that in Mark 11:24 the Word tells us "believe we receive WHEN WE PRAY"!
That next week - HE WAS SPONSORED!
Praise God!
I believe in Eugene!
His Sponsor believes in him!!
God believes in him!

One last testimony about Eugene . . .
On the last day I was in Homa Bay - it was very early in the morning to leave for Nairobi to catch my flight.
I had already told everyone at the Home "goodbye" the day before as there would not have been time to do so before heading to Nairobi (6 1/2 hours drive).
As we drove through town headed to Nairobi we stopped at - what I thought - the store to get bottled water.
I look out the side window and "there is Eugene"!!!!!!!
He had walked in to town from Hope Children's Home to "hug me goodbye one MORE time"!
Oh, my heart melted! I sobbed tears of JOY!!
As Eugene hugged me he said . . . "Mom, Wanda, telling you goodbye is the hardest thing I've ever done"!
"You will always be my mom!"
Ooooooohhhh, Jesus! Jesus! Jesus!
God bless Eugene!

For real folks???
Every day - they FIGHT for their lives! They fight for clean water and food!
And he's telling me this is the hardest thing he's ever done?
Folks, you have an opportunity to make these children's lives BETTER!!!
Will you join us??

Take it from me . . . YOU will be blessed MORE than you COULD ever imagine by becoming a part of such a BIGGER vision than your own personal life!!

We are One!

Galatians 3:28
There is neither Jew nor Greek,
there is neither slave nor free,
there is niether male nor female;
for you are all One in Christ Jesus.

Ordered steps!

Last August God divinely set my path to cross with an Orphanage in Homa Bay, Kenya, Africa called Hope Children's Home.  It is under the Direction of Pastor Joseph and Sister Brenda Olloo and Founders, Bishop Nashon and Sister Helen.

To date, 38 children are safe from living on the streets and receive food, shelter, clothing, education and the Love and Grace of Jesus Christ!

In February of this year, 2016, I answered the call of the Lord to travel to Hope Children's Home to become a Partner in One in Christ and His Love, Hope and Grace!

I was received in the most astounding way I have ever experienced in my life - from our new Kenyan family and two weeks with these amazing children and dedicated Pastors transformed my heart!

Words don't seem to appropriately describe what happened inside of me.

The children, so little in stature and earthly possessions - BUT MIGHTY to give the MOST . . . unconditional Love!

Since, I have returned home to America, Hope Children’s Home have added 2 more children.

One of which is named Angel.

Angel was recently found by the local police in a garbage dumpster in the bush.

She was taken to the hospital for care and Hope Children's Home was contacted.

Hope Children's Home has accepted Angel in and she has been signed over to them legally by her birth mother.

Her birth mother has received Counseling from our Home Pastor, Sister Brender Olloo.

Based upon Biblical Grace and Unconditional Love from our Lord, Jesus Christ - the mother has found Love and Grace and Forgiveness through The Blood of Jesus.

Hallelujah!

Upon the mother receiving freedom in Jesus Christ - she has remained in her decision to give legal custody to Hope Children's Home.

Here's where you can help!

Hope Children's Home - before receiving Angel - was not set up for infants.  Stretching forward in Faith – we believe we were to accept Angel as our own and God will provide.

So, along with our current goal of finishing up our boy's home - as they are remaining sleeping in the tin shed - we also have infant care for Angel.

Would you be in prayer how you can partner with Hope Children's Home, Homa Bay, Kenya, Africa?

Below is a list of current needs you may Sponsor for the Month of April, 2016 –

a.     $300 – A month of baby clothes, vitamins, formula and diapers for Angel.
b.     $3,500 - Finish the Boy’s Home in completion in order for the boys to move in.
c.     $800 - For food for the rest of the children.
d.     $500 - For personal hygiene for the other 37 children; i.e., soap, shampoo, tooth
paste, laundry detergent, maxi pads for our young ladies, etc.

           Your every dollar helps!
       $1, $5, $20, $50, $100, $1,000
                    or $5,000!
